The Whartons Primary School in Otley has joined the growing group of schools in the Collaborative Learning Trust on June 1 2026. A Multi-Academy Trust based on existing school partnerships, the Collaborative Learning Trust was formed in 2018 with Prince Henry’s Grammar School and Bramhope Primary School as the first members.
Since then, the Trust has grown with schools across Leeds and Bradford joining, The Whartons is the ninth school to join.
Trust CEO Janet Sheriff said “I am absolutely delighted that the Whartons Primary School has joined our partnership of schools. We have worked together for many years and it is fantastic to take that partnership to the next level. The school has much to contribute to our collaborative work and I am confident that our Trust’s shared services (including experts in education, finance, HR, estate management and more) will free up time, enabling the school’s leaders and staff to focus on delivering high quality education and wider support for the children in their community.”
