Human Resources

The central HR service is led by the HR Director who works with the Trust’s HR Consultancy and Legal Service, currently provided by ‘Fusion HR’. The HR service includes:

  • HR development discussion with HR Director at least once a term.
  • Advice for schools joining the Trust, provided by the HR Director and our HR Consultancy and Legal service ‘Fusion HR’.
  • Responsive HR advice from the HR Director or a designated HR Business Partner at Fusion HR
  • An online system for all staff vacancies across the Trust (supplement for software cost applies). Guidance and some administrative capacity for the development of adverts, recruitment packs. The Trust provides all necessary documentation to compile comprehensive adverts and recruitment booklets, and automatically uploads information to the relevant school websites. Guidance for the development of selection processes.
  • The Trust HR Director develops, with input from trustees and leaders, all central HR Policies and ensures that they are regularly reviewed and fit for purpose. 
  • Advice, guidance and some administrative capacity for Headteachers and governors on the development of school staffing models.
  • Full payroll service as well as payroll advice as necessary
  • Trust wide HR MIS system (supplement for software cost applies) to document, monitor, and manage all aspects of HR and payroll processes and procedures.
